Q: WHAT MAKES YOUR WORK DIFFERENT FROM OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS’ WORK?
A: Our take on wedding photography is very creative and fresh. We take all of our photos in intimate, relaxed settings and try to use natural and mixed lighting and thats what makes our work very different. Our sessions are candid & fun!
Q: WILL WE GET THE PRINT RELEASE TO OUR PHOTOS AFTER OUR WEDDING?
A: Yes! upon receiving your images, you will also get a full print release.
Q: HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS WILL BE THERE AT OUR WEDDING?
A: Most of our wedding collections come with two photographers, although you can always add on a photographer for an additional cost.
Q: WILL WE GET FEATURED IN A MAGAZINE OR BLOG?
A: Although many of our sessions do get featured, this is not something that is guaranteed. Most publishers are interested in colorful, detailed, and uniquely designed weddings!
Q: DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH ELOPEMENTS?
A: Of course! Depending on availability and the number of hours you have set aside for photography, we have special rates for weekday engagement and elopements.
Q: DO YOU HAVE A LIST OF PREFERRED VENDORS TO USE?
A: We sure do! From wedding co-ordinators to florists and caterers, we have worked with some of the best companies in the industry and would be happy to share their information with you!
Q: WE’RE HAVING A DESTINATION WEDDING. DO YOU TRAVEL?
A: Yes! We love destination weddings and have been lucky enough to travel all over the world shooting weddings. Send us more information on your travel plans, and we will create a custom wedding collection to suit your needs.
Q: WHAT IS THE BEST TIME FOR PHOTOS?
A: Approximately 1.5 hours prior to sunset (aka golden hour). Think of it this way, the higher the sun is in the sky, the more harsh the light will be. So as the sun approaches the horizon, you’ll get that soft golden light that is the most flattering on skin tones. Sunrise is always beautiful too, but let’s be honest, who’s even up that early?
Q: DO I HAVE TO ORDER PRINTS THROUGH YOU?
A: We highly recommend ordering prints through our professional vendors, but it is not required. The difference in quality is huge when it comes to ordering through a professional lab, so we encourage clients to let us help you with prints!
Q: WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
A: We use all of the latest Fujifilm equipment. We carry two XH2 camera bodies, three XH2S, 18mm f/1.4, 33mm f/1.4, 50mm f/1.4, 16-55mm f/2.8, 56mm f/1.4, 50-140mm f/2.8. All of our cameras and lenses have a backup in the rare event that anything should happen to one of our pieces.
Q: ARE THE COUPLES ON YOUR SITE MODELS?
A: Haha! While we are lucky enough to work with gorgeous couples, the images shown on our site are regular, paying clients.
Q: HOW DO WE RESERVE OUR WEDDING DATE?
A: 50% deposit and signed contract is required in order to get your wedding day on the calendar. The remainder of the balance is due four weeks before the wedding.
